November 5, 2008

Priority Pass, the world’s leading airport lounge program, now offers its members access to 5 additional airport VIP lounges in India, bringing the total there to 18.

The new lounges are in Ahmedabad, Chennai (where Priority Pass has added two new lounges) and Cochin (where two new lounges have also been added). In addition, Priority Pass members already had access to VIP lounges in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.

Membership of Priority Pass costs from just US$99 per year and gives travellers access to any of more than 500 VIP lounges in the programme whenever they travel – regardless of the airline they are flying or their class of travel.

“With 18 VIP lounges now available at 7 airports across India, membership is more appealing than ever to Indian frequent flyers, or to anyone who visits India frequently,” observed Jonathan French, Brand Director of Priority Pass. “ Our worldwide programme now includes more than 500 lounges, which means that you will almost always be able to find one wherever you travel.”
